Marketing Communications Manager
- Reporting to the Managing Director your role as a Marketing Communications Manager will be to drive existing and develop new opportunities across all marketing channels. You will be communicating with clients from small to medium sized business on a daily basis as well as the media and public relations firms. You must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. The key to this role is ownership.
- As a newly created position in our organization you must be extremely comfortable in an environment where processes may be initially undefined - you will consistently defining procedures, and will possess the following skills:
Responsive: able to manage multiple project simultaneous, while also managing reactive requests for support from sales and project management
Collaborative: able to work in a collaborative fashion with in a small team. This individual must be adept at gaining cross-functional buy-in on the solution goals, objectives and go-to-market strategy.
Proactive: willing and able to not just own projects - but develop and improve upon them. He or she must be creative and proactive, with a willingness to propose and defend new programs that span training, sales enablement, and marketing
Flexible: ability and willingness to adapt to quickly- and regularly-changing needs from the sales and marketing organizations
Results Oriented: committed to driving results that support RSA sales and marketing
Organized: highly organized and able to juggle multiple long-term projects with day-to-day requests and activities

Details of the role include:
• Managing relationships with clients, media and PR companies
• Managing the relationship with our SEO provider
• Arranging content on company websites
• Arranging meetings with potential alliance and sponsorship partners
• Creation and deployment of marketing collateral
• Managing all online marketing, including satellite sites and use of social networking sites
• Managing all offline marketing campaigns including news letters
• Maintaining records of time spent on tasks, volume of traffic to the site, phone calls, emails and meetings
• Attending networking functions, meetings, expos and trade shows with some interstate travel required

Background Requirements:
• BA/BS Degree Required
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years product or solutions marketing experience in a high-technology, education or similar industry
• Experience in solutions marketing technology and/or service solutions, vertical marketing, product marketing with marketing and/or product management leadership experience
• Proven track record working directly with the sales team in a high growth organisation
• Professional demeanour with high verbal and interpersonal skills to deal regularly at executive level contact
• Excellent writing and collateral development skills to translate strategy and messaging to pragmatic, usable content
• Self-starter who sets priorities and drives deliverables to execution with minimal supervision
- The primary qualification for consideration for this role is a proven track record in solutions marketing. In-depth knowledge of the franchising industry is not an absolute essential, but if you had experience in this or similar business models it would certainly be an advantage. You should be comfortable in defining processes and procedures, problem-solving and taking action.
